Dane Nielsen

In the past we would have jumped at a nuffty like Nielsen,but it seems we are a little smarter now. Lets hope the person who replaces Moss has the same views on what sort of player we need at our club
 
Not only is he behind the Milkster in team lists, Swag's also about 10 forum accounts behind him as well
 
Didn't this guy only score 2 tries in about 30 games for the dragons and warriors? On top of that he doesn't sound like a nice bloke either….

It's ironic how you are sitting here defending him when I barely said anything offensive but you were the one putting it on me whenever i made a post.

Hey I really enjoy your support and non-criticism, a lot of people on here seem to look over me since I am young and just criticise my posts. Our 3rd string depth centres have more talent and potential than this scrub.

Here's an idea, why don't we leave Swaggie alone and while we're at it leave Milky alone. It seems to me that we flame anyone who is young but I notice that we all post in topics started by them.

Nielson is exactly what we need- a centre who is hungry. He did chomp on that shiela in the bar apparently.
Playing-wise the bloke is a hack who has had 3 clubs in 2 or so years….not a good combo. Pass.
 
Stick to the topic. Any more personal remarks against people in this thread and I will start placing people on mod preview.

I think Nielsen is hot and cold,more cold than hot,obviously he has or had ability…We need good consistent players week in and week out in order for us to progress up the ladder in 2016 ....I would pass on him...
 
The South Sydney Rabbitohs have today confirmed the signing of former Queensland State of Origin representative Dane Nielsen for the 2016 and 2017 seasons.

Neilsen, 30, joins the Rabbitohs after making his NRL debut for the Sharks in 2007 before stints with the Storm (2008-12), Warriors (2013-14) and Dragons (2015), amassing 111 NRL games.

Nielsen was part of Grand Final victories in 2009 and 2012 with the Storm, and would also go on to represent Queensland in three State of Origin clashes in 2011 and 2012, as well as the Indigenous All Stars in 2013.

Rabbitohs Head Coach Michael Maguire is pleased to be bringing Nielsen into his squad for the next two years.

“Dane brings with him big game experience which will be invaluable for the young members of our backline,” Coach Maguire said.

“He’s prepared to put in the work and fight for a spot in our backline, and competition for spots is what every Club looks for.

“We’re looking forward to having him join the squad this week.”

Where is the consistency of the integrity unit. Didn't Nielson supposedly bite a woman, and Jennings was found guilty of a criminal offence, but no sanctions. Maybe if Brooks & Moses don't take up their option, we should be on the phone to Todd Carney.
 
Nielson is another long list of Melbourne players who only looked good in a Melbourne jumper.

The big three made many a player look so much better.

Surely Souths have better in their junior ranks than a 30 year old has been
