Daniela leaves for Penrith

I like him, always have.
Massively underrated and underutilized.
Deserves to be a starting center in the NRL.
Don't like Penrith @ all, but always thought he was one of their better players whilst with em.

I'll miss him.

Yeah, I agree Demps. It's a real shame the pec injury cruelled his chance of playing first grade this year. With Lawrence out for much of the season, I think Geoff would've been a more than capable replacement in the centres and I was really looking forward to watching his development as a player. Oh well, at least he is going back to his junior home club - I wish him all the best.

For once I agree with you.

He'll probably get a starting spot at Penriff next year and their backline depth is alot thinner than ours. Unfortunately as Willow pointed out, it's no loss from our end as he has no real chance of a regular spot at the Tigers unless long term injury strikes while he's fit. This year would have been a great chance for him to stamp his authority but his pectoral injury couldn't have been more ill-timed.

Good luck Geoff, look forward to seeing you run around for the black cats again.

Daniela did play some good games for us in 2010.With the signing of Reddy the writing was on the wall for him.

Gee,Penrith's signings aren't going to send shivers down anyone' spine. They have lost Petro and signed no one of note.

Gould must have some master plan which others can't see.Maybe they are waiting for Cleary to finish with the warriors and he will do the recruiting.

My favourite memory of him was in the 50-6 SHELLACKING we gave the Warriors at Campbelltown in 2010 - where he scored 3 tries in about 15 minutes. He showed speed, class, light feet, and made some massive tackles in defense that night.

to quote Andrew Voss - "Geoff Daniela is having the finest night of his First Grade Career!!"

Never truer words spoken by Vossy.

I thought Geoff always gave 100% when given an opportunity in the NRL. If it wasn't for Inglis lashing out Geoff would have be a very good replacement for Lawrence.

I think he has made the right decision to go back to Penrith as his chances of a NRL spot are much better than ahead of Lawrence and Ashyford.

Good luck Geoff.
