Wasn't he playing in NSW Cup for Wyong? Seems a stretch to play NRL from there. Odd signing. You'd think they have other options in QLD rather than a nobody who was ok, but never really good enough at NSW Cup level to make the step up…

sorry, i did know that- what i meant was- didnt they all start as fullbacks? i remember ben hubt being fullback when locky was still playing.

I always thought he would make the ideal back up seven or nine. He was a very heady player, not fast but had a very good football brain and was hard.Not sure what role he will play at the Bronks,but if their 9 or 7 goes down he would not let them down if he was called up

I watched him last weekend for the Devils against PNG & he was very impressive( looked better than Nikorima who the Broncos have huge wraps on).
