was speaking to david today - wants to play or try to play for the bulldogs next season because he wants to play first grade.

is he really going to get a better chance there?
it would be a shame to see him go but there are obviously reasons he hasn't had a chance so far. He could be a good player given time the fact his brother is going so well probably doesn't help the fact he wants a chance in top grade.

The guy is talented no doubt but he has to earn the shot at A Grade 1st I amnot sure whether he has or not most things I have read has said he has been inconsistent but getting better as the season has gone on. He might get a shot next friday night with all the injuries at the club right now.

I don't think he'll get a better chance there, they have signed some good players plus have Eastwood returning.

if he is patient and gets his weight and fitness under controll like his brother he will play.

The Bulldogs have pretty good depth in the forwards for next season so i reckon he's clutching at straws there. Agree with balmain tiger, if he continues to work on his fitness and doing the little things well, he could get a chance at the Tigers.

He might just be one of those players that need a taste of real first grade footy before he can bloom to his potential.

He has to do what he is told by the people who are paid to prepare him week in week out first. I hope he is picked for his 1st grade debut alongside Andrew.

I think if David is picked on the bench we will not look back. He will step up to the mark and realise what he needs to work for.

His 'taste' of 1st grade is required right now.
