I think Noffa has played pretty poorly this season but this is spot on. You can’t blame the winger when they are constantly getting out numbered.

It happens on both edges too. Our defensive issues start much further in. Luciano is terrible, never pushed from the inside once the ball goes to the outside. Getting some forwards who can control the ruck would be a great start.

Our inside players show no determination to move across and react to where gaps are. Their headspace just isn't there. I can see Nofo's frustration, but putting it on social media only shows there are huge problems in the camp.

Agree technically he is correct

But I think it shows he's more about him than the team.

He says its 'sad' that he gets blamed.
What about it being 'sad that we are in bottom team and getting flogged.

Could of given a similar response but had a collective ownership.

I.e in the first half we didn't work as a team and had no linespeed.
In the 2nd half we corrected and our d was much better.
As a team we need to take ownership and improve our defence

If you suspect a teammate is not trying, and you are yourself getting constantly bagged on social media for your own defence, I can see why you would want to defend yourself on social media. It's not wise of course, but I can understand it.

He was getting personally blamed, so i can see why he would come out defend himself but totally wrong forum to do that in

If he was to go down the collective response , he should, also add Souths had totally switched off in that 2nd half, their training sessions only run for 40mins!!!

if our chairman stayed out of the football department and in the boardroom we'd be far better off. Pascoe as well. their football nous is horrendous. it's been reported a few times that both of them wanted Leilua and Nofoaluma on a long term deal when Hartigan and Maguire were hesitant. look at us now.

I've been very critical of Pascoe in the past but lately he's done some things that really deserve credit, the hiring of Sheens in particular. Lee on the other hand seems to treat the Tigers like his own play thing... I don't think the major sponsor should be the chairman.

Surely in scenarios like that though the last thing the winger should be doing is rushing off the line going for an intercept? That just creates an even bigger gap for opposition to run through. And that's exactly what's been happening.

Wouldn't we be better off if he hung back and stayed on his wing then let the inside players slide out to him?
