Day Record - 8 wins 6 losses
Night Record - 1 win 8 losses

Our night time record is well and truly the worst in the comp with the next Knights 4 wins, 9 losses

Maybe coz it’s past most of our players bedtimes 🤷🏻‍♂️
Does a 5:30pm kick off qualify as a night game as I’m supposed to go to next weeks game and might rethink it based on the above 😄

That is quite interesting.

I wonder what the ratios are like for every team, and if day games generally see better results.

For a team that mentally struggles historically, the psychological effects of waiting around all day to play when the bodies natural rhythms are counter balanced seems to be a stumbling block.
Additionally, we are a group of ad lib, throw it around and score skills based tries types as opposed to professionally wearing a team down to score. That’s harder to do at night when the ball is more slippery.
Thirdly, we are terrible at defusing bombs. Artificial light is harder to judge due to shadows etc. That makes us even worse under the highball.

It’s probably a mixture of a number of factors.
Maybe a lot of our players are early risers?

Without seeing our draw its hard to make a judgement .....our harder games may have been at night

Do you know who we played in those night games? Was it the better teams or a spread?
