He’s got a good attitude and will only keep improving. Thought he’s been solid at fullback

Have given him a pass mark based on his work in attack being pretty good, but only just, as like others, I have concern over his work when we don't have the ball. I recall your comments on his running style and you may well be right in it not being a lack of effort, though, for mine his positioning and anticipation leave a lot to be desired.

As he has grown up as a half, I hope that Adam can quickly get on top of these shortfalls, as his work under the high ball puts him above those in the position since Tedesco sold out. I suppose, at least the religious amongst us don't need to pray every time a bomb heads towards him, but we need him to somewhat pick up his deficiencies over the coming weeks, else start looking at him as a future half and elsewhere for our long term option at the back.

There is no other option mate, no one decent coming off contract and we don't have anyone in our system that can play FB apart from Mbye and that is a worse option imo.

He has only played 2 games of FB for us and a handful at Souffs (most when injured), I think he will continue to improve to the point he will be really good at the back, something we haven't had since Teddy and he was no where near (for us) what he is today.

He's definitely showing more promise at fullback than LM. I'm happy to let him continue to learn his trade and think he's has plenty of potential.

Douehi is a strange one to me. He has this real awkward agility, doesn't seem very fast but somehow is and is strong as a bull. I wonder if he's grown too big for fullback? Might be just outright better suited at 6.

I wonder if there will ever be a Wests Tigers player who wins universal approval...Ellis is probably the closest but even he was called a pillow..Matterson next in line ended up being a flog...Tuiaki maybe but cruelly cut short..

Doueihi probably won't..he has to be given time at Fullback or we just purchased an expensive utility which is currently owned by Mbye..

He just needs to improve his defensive positioning. It can be taught and I'm more than happy to give him time to learn it.
He is showing great things in the other aspects of his game so it's no surprise to me that he has good attitude. Glad he's here.

I just hope Douehi was watching last night's Manly v Broncos match. In the last minute of the match Broncos' Xavier Coates was speeding down the sideline ready to score a try and win the match for the Broncos. Manly fullback Trobejevic was initially in around the centre of the field but showed great determination and speed to bundle Coates into touch and win the game for Manly.

It was a similar situation to last week's Titans V Tigers match when in the last minute of play the Titans winger raced down the touchline with Douehi located centre field. However Douehi didn't show sufficient positional urgency to tackle the winger. Consequently, Titans scored the try and won the match. I hope Douehi has learnt that a first grade fullback needs to be always aware where the opposition attack is heading and needs to put in the extra effort and enthusiasm when in similar situations to Saturday missed opportunity.

Actually that's wrong. Last tackle they spread the ball left where we were short. He was in the middle of the field and sprinted out to the right to be the extra man to try and tackle Peachey. Before he could get there peachey stepped back inside and grubbed back towards the posts, wrong footing doueihi. He was doing what he should have been doing and there's nothing any fullback could have done for that play.
That's where you need a team mate to read and anticipate the only two options peachey had and cover the second option. But they were all standing watching..
