Did a forum member give up Benji to the press?

According to Robert Craddock (News Ltd Brisbane-based cricket journo) on Foxsports "The Back Page" program on tuesday - the media was completely unaware of a Tigers player (or Benji by name for that matter) being the focus of an assault allegation on saturday until a "Tigers forum member from **IDAHO**" called a News Ltd journalist to inform them!!!!!!

Sounds alot like Chris to me!!!!

This is not an accusation - but it was broadcast on Foxsports - so it needs to be addressed (especially given the club has NO OFFICIAL forum - so this is it)!!!!

As I said it was not an accusation - but I just watched the show after IQing it & thought "Boisie". immediately!!

It is not a lie from me to cause trouble - I can assure you!

i know mate, but I can assure you that the media and many other people here were aware of it well before Chris was.

So that means either:
A - the original comments were misinformed or incorrect, or
B - there is another tigers fan in Idaho

It was just a weird coincidence & I felt the need to ask the question in good faith without casting aspersions!

I think a more likely scenario would be that a forum reader saw the thread on this forum and pointed it out to his mates, spreading via facebook (remember we had about 100 people online reading the original thread before it was announced in the media) and some journalist who Robert Craddock knows was made aware of the thread by another person in the USA.
