If and its a big if, Robbie gets out of dummy half quicker instead od dawdling out like he does.

Absolutely right KS. Farah has been very slow out of DH since 2009\. People kee blaming the rules but yet other hookers have still been effective in this area.

In recent most of Farah's good work has come from second phase play not out of dummy half.

Compare him To Isaac Luke or Matt Srama.

I'd take Isaac Luke over Farah any day of the week and twice on Sunday's

Wow…..

He is a bash and barge hooker, with little ball skills. Farah is a far superior footballer but gets stuck doing too much sometimes. I think Luke is gd but not of the same calibre. Thought he was poor last night. Not hard to pass to GI at the line after your monster pigs have done all the work

Farah has by far a better kicking game. id take Farah any day

Lucky for Luke.. He's not been part of a beaten forward pack. Luke has more pace and upper body strength- but farah outclassed him in every other department.

I wouldn't swap farah for any other hooker. He is WT now that Benji is gone and until the younger brigade make their names.

I'll give the super fast play the balls until round 3, then it's same-o, same-o

Every year there is a new novelty rule. This latest rule is very difficult to fairly adjudicate and rather than speed up the game it tends to jolt its flow of continuity.

Wow, wasn't Farah NSW player of the year just last year.

He has carried the tigers since 05 with an average at best forward pack.

Luke goes well behind a dominant forward pack but is an absolute grub in the way he plays the game.

How is anyone even giving substance to Luke being better then Farah, they don't compare, yeah Luke might have an extra yards pace but that doesn't stop Robbie from making a bust or playing someone into a hole, Farah>>>Luke

not hard at all, but smart enough to execute…

You were right in your second sentence. This is Farah's biggest problem, he try's too much too often. Some will yell and scream "well if others did there job", but there is no doubt his selfish plays has been talked about now at the Tigers & for NSW.

There is no doubt he is one of our best players, but I'd really like to see Robbie concentrate on his job as a 9, because personally he is a crap 7 & 6!

As for Luke, he has shown to have the kahunas for NZ time and time again, and this is enough to put him in the same class as Robbie.

The only thing Luke has in favour of Farah is a little extra speed - he uses it to scoot from dummy half and that's it.
His only attributes are that he is fast and has a head that looks like it wants to be punched.
Farah is far superior in every facet of the game.
Passing , kicking and reading the game are not Luke's strongpoints.

So true, the usual people and clubs will apply pressure on the NRL and your right by round three the wrestle will be back.I don't want a hybrid style of touch football but I also don't want teams wrestling the attack out of the game.

Has this turned into a Luke v Farah Topic?

I'm sure most don't care because of the two teams involved but did anybody notice the amazing refereeing decision after the Easts player was taken out by Reynolds without the ball.
Cummings stated to Easts "If the try isn't scored Reynolds would have been off".
Ok - no 8 point try, no sin bin for a professional foul.
What is the penalty for that - none - he gets off. Could not believe it!!!
Setting a dangerous precedence here. Comments please.

Also re shoulder charge (Dogs v Broncos game) by Pritchard when in possession of the ball, any different than when in defence? Can do just as much damage methinks.

Well it can't be an 8 point try because the infringement occurred before the try was scored but I do agree that regardless he should have been sin binned.

As for the shoulder charge I think it's just one of those things that happened. Not premeditated and just muscling up in the tackle.
