I wondered how long it would take for this blokes name to appear in this thread…...........First page!!!!!

it si human nature for people to want to know what people are saying about them, i reckon they would check it out from time to time….

The office staff read every single post on every forum and note down any negative comment

if thats the case maybe they should find something better to do with their time.

a forum is a place for opinions and banter.

if you dont like it dont post.

p.s. i reckon the odd player would check every now and then for a bit of fun. everyone gets curious every now and then!

Sometimes it has gone beyond opinions and banter, and that's something we will not allow to happen on this forum.

yeah i understand that, but sometimes deleting posts and locking rumor threads can go over the top in this place..
i see nothing wrong with a bit of speculation on a fan forum and i dont think the mods should be stepping in until people come out and say 'this rumor is definitely true, a friend of a cousins friend said so'…. thats when false information is potentially being confirmed as true.. i dunno its a complex one by just my opinion.

I can agree with this post.

Few low post count users popping up in this thread….
Suspicious?

ofcourse… there always is an influx of new users on a forum (not just ours) when a club or player is in the media spotlight...

could be anyone.....

Doesn't mean much, I have been a member for many more years than it states on my profile,(says I have only made a few posts) every time there is a new forum it doesnt count all the previous posts or the years I have been on here.

I do know players used to read posts but I wouldnt think so now days

Yes. You are kidding yourself if you thought they didn't. As do club officials, journalists and players' families. Why wouldn't they?

So be nice

I've also heard that Sheens has someone review the forum. good luck to them…

I dont think they would…..but on the off chance they may like to come in to have a good laugh at some of armchair coaches......

Gibbs and Fulton would have to, wouldn't they? They're probably the ones who start the threads with the most outlandish comments and then sit back and watch all of us carry on like a bunch of twits, trying to out-post each other

If I was a player (which I'm not) I would read this forum regularly. That's why this issue has always concerned me - I know that people are just expressing their opinions, but some of the bile directed at players on here sometimes can't be good for their heads.

Especially if you are a young guy eg Robert Lui trying to establish yourself in the team, or Tim Moltzen coming back from a long period out with injury, the last thing you need is to be told by a fan of the WT that you are useless, hopeless and gutless.
