It sucks that yr in yr out we are resorted to drawing on inspiration from previous yrs. All this 'judge us at the end of the yr' and 'our season starts now' in round 16 crap grows tiresome

yeah kinda over these comparisons as well.

Why can't we just have a more consistent team?

Let's see if we can knock over Penrith on Saturday night. The team needs a confidence boost and it starts by winning games. I also believe confidence within the team will build if Benji starts to run the ball. He said he needs to try and find a balance, well if he runs the ball as much as he kicks it, then I have no doubt the Tigers can cause some problems for the teams placed above them.

I actually was looking at the same thing and with Ellis back our 2nd phase comes back which we are best at. It's on like donkey kong now here we come ))

I think the boys will take some confidence from the Doggies game. Matched it for most parts without half our spine, no Ellis and a 3 man bench.

I'm fairly confident the recent losses will be a blessing with a big attitude shift in defence to lift our game and the timing is about right to charge head first into the finals.

Farah will be raring to go and bring his origin form to the club.
Moltzen has his future secure and I think he'll be the x factor for us in the last weeks of the regular comp.
Ellis would be fresher then ever and he will play his best footy.
We may get a youngster on the wing to replace Tuquiri which can add to the enthusiasm.
Benji has had his best year as far as directing the team around. His job is about to get easier with Farah and Moltz back and he always starts to run a bit more at this time of year.

Sure I'd like to be sitting in 3rd or 4th, but we are the midnight specials and being on the fringe of the 8 will have us playing finals type football from now on.

Which games have we struggled with any team in the top 8? All of them have been close if not come out on top.
I think the dogs game was the biggest losing margin and I don't even think that's worth taking into account given the calibre of players out.
And I spose it's consistent when your team starts the season well and drops during/after origin…..
