Do you think we need to go into camp this season

Does anyone think we need to go into camp for a few days to refocus the boys after what has been a terribly taxing time for the players in the last week

Might be what we need to freshen the batteries and reset our season for the final run home to what will will be a memorable eason for the right reasons

I thought either next week (after the bye weekend )or the week of round 20 when Ellis returns might be the best times

Yes I do. Anytime time now within the next month would be good to just relax and to get ready to roar just in time for the finals.

Are we the only team that goes into camp mid season like we have the past few years?

I think it may be a bit of a placebo.

Whatever works Stryker

If they thought by rolling their socks down to their ankles and pulling their shorts up around their armpits works and they start a winning streak go for it I say

We all have our superstitions as weird as they seem

If they somehow get shellacked by Newcastle - yes.

If we don't, then no - however let the players have some R&R over the bye, and have the Sheenius strongly recommend they all do it together.

Great idea esp after the last few weeks. Altho it might be a bit hard for Robbie to be away from his family

Was it last year, they had their camp around the time the team were really struggling, but were saying "it is just a coincidence - we were going to have it now anyway"?

I say, give them the camp. Helps build team morale which is so vital in close games. You need to be doing it for the guy next to you.

This. I would be hesitant to take Robbie away from his family during a time like this. The boys are obviously offering a lot of support for him at the moment, but his biggest support network will be his family and they will be looking to each other to help get themselves through such a difficult time.

The mid year camp does seem to be our magic dust, we don't want to over play it tho. How often do we normally do it??

I don't think it's necessary.
Previous years the boys go into camp usually after a terrible run of game where they need to re-focus.
One year the only reason why the boys had a camp was because they got stranded in NZ if I remember correctly.

I also don't think at this stage Farah would want to spend an extended period of time away from his Family, although the distraction might be good for him.

We don't need to go into camp. We need to cut the deadwood and rebuild. It's been the same for too long we only ever want to do it the easy way.

I find it hillarious that a professional sports team has to go into camp mid season every year to get their heads right.
It is absolutely pathetic and nothing more than a crutch.
Grow up and put the hard yards in at training.
