Does anyone else no longer care? What makes you continue to show up?

I'm with you on this and I was just thinking about it a few weeks ago. I was thinking about on the basis that they are not an especially well financed team but annually punch well above their weight. Is this correct or are they funded up there with the broncos?
Sharks point of difference as a club is they own their land. Think they sold it partially to developers a few years back hence the tiny capacity at Shark Park currently.

Champion @innsaneink,

Farah to Brooks, Moses, Teddy and Addo Carr ............ what's not to love about a flowing back line ?
Some would say, it's just a matter of draw your man, catch and pass.
Where has our footy gone?

You never know where the bottom is.

I haven't watched a full game in weeks. Prefer to check scores and avoid.

Have been like that for several seasons, barring the beginning of this season. They fooled me yet again.

I was actually not happy when AD kicked his field goal on the weekend. That's a new one for me.

I turned it off just before the siren, not out of rage or sadness but because I didnt want to see Parra look happy lol
OMG I also can no longer bear to see watch the after game festivities whee the players that just got us whipped smile and regale with the opposition and the stupid Fox commentators rave about the brilliance of the players that barely managed to defeat the table that cannot score points .. makes me too sad and furious ..

I certainly care, I try not to take anything for granted, including the Tigers. These d*ckheads running the joint don't effect me that much, the footy is the main thing, good or bad.

And one day, they may not even be there.

I care a lot about our team, but it’s waned over time… losing consistently will do that to you.

What I’m excited about is that my kids love sports. Both boys are in the Sydney Comets system. I grew up playing basketball, and hopefully they continue to love the game too.

The biggest upside is that they could potentially earn a lot more money than league and avoid some of the risks that come with constant head knocks.
That's exciting, congrats to your kids!

I think everyone feels the same and has lost or is gradually losing interest. How could anyone stay as passionate? I'd like to hear from someone who is still super excited and optimistic about the future of the WTs. How do you keep motivated? I, like most keep an eye on the forum to see what's happening around the place, but have started to follow other sporting codes with more interest (I'm actually looking forward to the start of the NFL season) I'd be lucky to watch 1 or 2 NRL games a week and they aren't WTs games a lot of the time.

This year I dropped pay TV so I only see Tigers if ch9 shows their games. I don't know if theyre on 9 again in the last 5 rounds. I don't care whether I watch them again this year or not.

I've only been to 2 games, Cowboys at Leichhardt and Dolphins at Ctown.

I'd rather watch the Wests youngsters go round at Lidcombe Oval.

Idk how it’s physically and emotionally possible to still maintain the rage after all this time. And not just the years and years of no finals, spoons etc. But also gut punches like losing a generational player like Tedesco, having Cleary walk out a year in, plus the never ending drama with players walking out, refusing to play games etc. Sooner or later something snaps inside you and you can’t help but check out. I remember 2005. I was so locked in. One game that season, we played the Sharks on a Friday night. My only concern leading into that game was winning so it wouldn’t ruin my weekend. These days, it’s the last thing that could ruin my weekend. Wins and losses affect me. But I don’t let them make or break my weekend.
Well said. To be honest the last 15 years have hurt, but this year I've just become numb to it all which helps.

They've got more TV games this third of the season, I think as much as the other 2 3rds combined.
