Rare for us to win let alone achieve that score line.I still can’t believe that hasn’t happened in all this time! It’s worse than trying to win the lottery 😂
We'll play in September this year for sure.I hated the Sharks for years. Mainly due to shit humans like Gallen and Ennis. However, outside of Ronaldo, they don’t really have any grubs in their side these days. And it’s hard not to be won over by how consistent they are, every single year. Whether they are contenders or not, they more often than not play in September.
There's unfortunately something likeable / car crash / interesting about the scrapes Tigers get into. On-field and off-field.Interesting that as a club, we still generate a lot of TV / massive media interest despite all the struggles. We frequently pull in high numbers for free-to-air and subscription broadcasts. (OzTAM data and club metrics regularly highlight significant audience engagement, with individual blockbusters or free-to-air slots drawing over a million viewers.)
There must be a lot of suckers for pain out-there ;-)

Just weird / unique stuff - the merger fighting, Hopoate fingers, Luai clauses, Galvout, Benji going to rugby, cocaine use in the early days, Big Four leaving, Cleary contract, Lee Hagipantelis, Farah vs Jason Taylor, Balmain insolvency, Balmain Leagues Club, THAT Cowboys game where Val Holmes was given a Bunker penalty after the siren, Api making jokes about us after he won the GF with Penrith, HBG in-fighting, Ryan Matterson, Tim Sheens sacking #1 and #2, Tales from Tiger Town, Tim Simona betting, the ANZAC Day jersey with the American soldiers on it, letting Fifita / Koroibete / JAC go, TNT and Dwyer injuries, Pascoe suspension, end to 2010 and 2011 finals series, 2005 GF. Etc etc etc etc. Always noteworthy stories.
Many of you will recall - a few decades ago the issue was always the close matches. NRL loved it because Tigers matches were always hair-raising, so we'd get way more prime time spots than we deserved. Electric for the general NRL fan, heart-attack stuff for Tigers.
And I think fundamentally lots of general NRL fans feel sorry for Tigers fans and the club in general, so any potential turnaround is a massive fairytale story in the making.
Yeah seems like we were doomed from the start with that one.Jarrod McCracken early retirement

Footy clubs are beasts that survive the ups and downs, the faces inevitably change, but the jersey lives on.
Losses give me the shits for a day or so sometimes but the thrill of winning far outweighs it.
Some day we’ll have the right people in place to win consistently again, and the suffering will be long forgotten.
Wins mean more to WT fans because we know the hurt more than most.
Understand people losing the passion for it, but you’ll probably be back.
I am totally gutted about where we are at as a club. It was affecting me as a person and father. I have told my eldest maybe its better if you go for another club. I try not to come on here aa much, i wont renew my membership or spend another $ of my money on going to games until i see it actually matters to the players who play for the club. Luai, Galvin whos next. During the 3 wooden spoons waych every game, this feels worse. Glad its the bye! Will not watch the Roosters game 72-6 incoming. Didn’t watch games last night usually always do. 15 years of painThis is what mielekamp needs to understand, while there are a handful of sheep who will follow the tigers for eternity into an abyss or anywhere they go, the only way a person can remain same whilst supporting Wests Tigers is to just stop caring. Lose all passion, become totally indifferent and casual.
Turn off auto renew. Don't go to matches, don't spend money on the club. Eventually it will kick in. It's just not worth the stress and torture to get emotionally invested into this club.
It's a one way ticket to severe mental and physical health ailments
