Does Tedesco have the body of a first grader?

If Hodgson can get through a career and be still playing at his age anyone can.

Tedesco suits superleage, nrl is for the slow heavy weights, actually marshall would go much better there than here, the game is finished for the small man in NRL just look at the latest halves they have bodies of second rowers.
My mate plays in super league and loves it says nrl is to robotic players are to scared to take a chance and get downgraded

By latest halves I'm assuming you mean Sirro? The backrower? Look at the young halves that have made a dent over the last few years like Cherry Evans, Reynolds and Foran or the top class ones like Thurston, Cronk and Mullen. They're not huge blokes, in fact next to the hooker they're probably the smallest blokes on the field. It's a different case for forwards and outside backs to an extent, but a small spine can still compete.

I thought Teddy played fine. Handled some swirling bombs very well. A few dumb errors.

However, it's clear he's still having leg problems, and it doesn't help when some knucklehead seems intent of giving them a twist every week.

At least you don't hear him whinging like big tough man Gallens

Tedesco was pretty good again last night

Compare him to Slater , they have the same body shape ,actually Teddy is taller and a season or two in the gym and he will bulk up even more ,especially in the legs/thighs /hips area

Though he played well tonight and all year. He took those bombs of carneys which IMO are the best bombs in the comp with ease. He ran the ball back hard, backed up to score a try, throu some nice balls in the line , took a Marshall chip under pressure, pressured their fullback all night and positioned himself to knock the ball back if he couldn't take the attacking bomb ( and it went back even though the ref called a knock on for one of them. He has come back from a serious knee injury into his first year of first grade at only 20\. He is a star in the making and will play for NSW at some stage.

His problem isn't that he doesn't have any ticker - at this point in his game he doesn't seem to have the positional play in defence right (no problems in attack).
Physically there must still be something wrong - he winces and has to drag himself off the ground every time he gets hit hard.
Would also advise longer studs to stop falling over and to watch a few videos of Garry Jack to learn the art of one on one tackling (send a copy to the Broncos fullback after his woeful attempt last night as well)

He was very safe under the high ball last night with a couple of great catches from difficult bombs.
He got caught out on the 40/20 after the first attempt stayed in for him.
Gus was correct about pressuring Mills who was shakey collecting kicks all night. We should of just been pressuring him to catch it and waiting for the error rather then trying to out-jump him.
He supported well in attack.
He is clearly playing in pain though. He winced after a kick return last night and has been most weeks. He is definately finding the game tough physically but it's not stopping him from contributing. He's a very brave young man.

They rate him enough to be playing him injured.

imo if his body comes good he will kill it. Probably looking at next year.

Teddy was great last night. One of our best, a real admirable performance. I've said it before but the thing with Teddy is that we won't see him back to anywhere near his full capabilities till next season. This year he is juggling lack of experience, coming back to full fitness after a major injury and the mental side effects that brings. He will be all the bettter for it.

Teddy was pretty good last. His only fault was being caught out of position with the 40/20\. He was 5 yards too shallow, and it proved a costly mistake

Safe as houses at the back with a good kicking game from the Sharks.

Even if he doesn't have the frame of a guy like Inglis, the fact he is willing to take those balls and gets smashed says a lot about his mental strength.

Physical is a lot easier to develop.

Looking forward to seeing him in our #1 jersey for years to come

I don't know if you call it being brave or stupid. His played with a leg injury for the last 6 - 7 weeks and any knock he takes is going to cause him problems during the game.
It has defiantly effected his speed.
But his done the things Potter wanted him to do which was Talk more…he was almost Moltzen like pushing players to their correct positions on the line last night.
Quickly bring the ball back...He doesn't off load to his wingers and just runs the ball back as hard and fast as possible.
Catch bombs don't let them bounce..his done that.
His coming along nicely you can't expect a fullback to be at his best when the forwards are being dominated and the team has no half back.

he has a good frame, no issue.

He is a talented player still learning the game. You can't expect players with with a dozen or so games to make decisions like seasoned professionals, he is going to get caught out positinally and stuff

I'm not. Gee, we must have someone better than him.

Krispy Kreme Man of the Match - Round 17
The Krispy Kreme Man of the Match is voted for by Wests Tigers fans across the Club's social networks.

This week's Man of the Match is fullback James Tedesco who narrowly beat out captain Robbie Farah.

Mullaney

Ha. I have never witnessed a more pathetic, gutless effort from a fullback then the one he turned out against Manly last night

I like tedesco but I'm not 100% convinced yet but willing I stay with him but Mullaney is bad and I'm glad he is not with us. At least teddy brings some size, heart and good hands.
