Dominated Stats Yet Lost Game

Alot of harsh posts generally. In the end we lost a hard fought close game against decent opposition away with plenty of key players out.

Everyone knows losing backs stunt the offense. Lost Luciano late.

But they tried stuff, the inside ball, spread it a few times from deep, offloads and 3 halves on the paddock late.. Saw them deeper, more bodies in motion.

But the backline outs mean things were not smooth after recently improving.

We're on the way up.

We dominated stats yet lost the game.

55% possession
77% completion rate vs 72%
1950 run metres vs 1514m
5 line breaks vs 4
54 tackle breaks vs 19
15 offloads vs 3
4 forced drop out vs 1
19 missed tackles vs 54 (93% efficiency vs 83%)
Received 8 penalties vs 1
11 errors vs 11

Dragons scrambled better in defence and had better support play in attack. That's all you can put it down to.
If we keep producing those stats then that tells you we are having a dig but can't finish our attack.
That's because our centres are all over the shop due injuries, suspension and the lack of a strike power man. Bird just might be our man???

I dont know what you are on tonight.... Nofo's edge? Garner cannot run or ball play, and Nofo runs for 300m per game, 270 of them sideways!

I dont know where half of you are seeing this massive step up in Nofo and Garner when compared to Gildart and Kepoa! Wish we had an upgrade on all 4 of them. Its a shame Nofo makes the cut at full strength...
Demps is seeing what I'm seeing.
Noffa was our best back, To'a as well, the rest like Kepaoa and Gildart were not our go to players tonight.
The make up of the side was wrong but it shows our depth is waning.
A fit Bird would have made a difference and Gildart to wing.
