DRAFT Petition to Save Coach Potter

By tomorrow this may be too late, so here is a draft petition to save Mick Potter as Wests Tigers coach.

"We believe that Mick Potter should be given the opportunity to see out the full term of his contract. The club has undergone major upheaval in the last 12 months, with the 2013 season being characterised by major injury crises, rendering this season an extremely difficult year to achieve on-field success.

We, Wests Tigers supporters, have faith in Mick Potter and his ability to form a winning team and team culture, and believe that given the right support from club management, will be able to achieve on-field success by the end of his current contract. We also believe that The Board can only achieve near, medium and long term success by ignoring rumours and innuendo and persisting with and showing faith in the current coach and recent past decisions of The Board. We recognize that the road ahead will be difficult, but fear that rash decisions will only imperil the club to more failure."

Please reply with any suggested changes. A separate petition will be created after consultation with fellow fans. The petition can then be posted to Facebook etc for more signatories.

The WT where formed by two loyal fan bases from struggle street, all they ever wanted was a fair go. Now as one we have united in asking for Michael Potter to be given a fair go. Please listen to the supporters as we're the ones that make this club tick. What do you have to lose, what is it costing you. Give us what we want. Your not hearing sack Potter from our majority, the only thing that you can do now is, get it wrong and upset the faithful. Please consider your actions.

If the board sack Potter, I want the board gone. If they believe Potter has failed his job, then surely the board have failed their job.
