Naden's pitiful defense cost us the game, fire up the shredder I reckon more rocks than diamonds.
There were plenty of people calling for his inclusion for his “experience”, well we all just experienced why he should never play first grade.
Yeah I don’t reckon you debut Mak this week. But who else we got Mapz? He had a poor game I believe in reggies? Our depth is about as deep as an oyster.
Shallower than a schooy 5 mins after mowing the lawn on a hot day.

I was one of them. I watched the replay of the 1st half last night and Naden is so frustrating. Pulls off big effort plays & tackles at times including a great shot on Nanai and kick chases then lets himself down falling off tackles or missing tackles. He's had enough chances and long enough now.

I think we’ve all seen his highlight reel moments, and they are top shelf, but his best and worst are KLM’s apart, and his worst will cost you the game.
Last season he was having a game and all of a sudden he did something stupid and it cost us. That was the game for me, even at his peak he is a millisec from losing the game or his head or both. He is a player you use as a stepping stone, a decent player that the good teams don’t want but the lower teams can get for a couple of years to get them off the bottom and then replace with better, as you climb the ladder.

Spot on Bf.

A disappointing thing for me is that Naden is held in such high regard amongst many of the younger guys in the squad as a mentor. Many mention him in interviews as a player who has helped them integrate into the squad.

Have to say he has been consistent all his career,
Hopefully we won’t show the same consistency by renewing his contract 😖

I'll predict an obscure selection in Bird to start at right centre. Makasini to be blooded off the bench & replace Bird in 2nd half with Bird moving to backrow, Sione into prop rotation. Kit rewarded after a couple of very good NSW Cup games.

Out: Naden, Sukkar, AD

If Bird is named I won't bother watching. Going to be hard as is.

I have no problem with a player being "blooded" at the end of the season against a stronger team where they may be dominated.....it probably drives them harder in the off-season to improve their game and gets them more focussed, these guys are professional athletes that have chosen the sport as their career path so if one game breaks them than they should probably start looking for a different career. Having said that I would prefer the club was in a position not to need to blood Makasini and give him a full pre-season training in his position with the team.
So, my argument is really if Benji is blooding him this year he may as well start next week as our season is over anyway, show him in real time and first-hand what the best young backs in the game are doing.
