Dragons Coach Wayne Bennett talks exclusively for Corporate Partners before the upcoming Preliminary match with the Tigers this Saturday

**1\. A weekend off has seen the players return this week fresh after not going through a tough and physical match, how have you seen training this week?**

The week has been very good. Training has been intense but at the same time enjoyable. What I have been pleased with is the focus the guys have shown on the field when out there but when away from it they have been relaxed and enjoying each others company.

**2\. Again an unchanged line-up for the Preliminary Final. It must please you that the squad is fit and healthy?**

It certainly is an issue when you are missing a key player in a key position but luckily we have been able to stay fit and healthy which is a plus.

**3\. It is a big occasion this weekend and a number of players have not progressed this far in their careers so far. What messages will you be giving those guys?**

The messages that I give to the guys are always nice and simple. Of course they are going to be thinking about the game but my message is that I don’t want them to play the game in their mind prior to kick-off. I want them to save up all that energy and just go flat out when the game starts.

**4\. The Tigers are a tough opposition who deserve to be at this point of the competition. Where do you expect their main dangers will come from?**

The hooker and the halves are what they base their game around so that is where lay their foundation so I want the guys to combat that. They have a number of other hey players that are playing footy with a lot of confidence at the moment so we’ll be looking to put a stop to that.

**5\. A large number of fans made the trip to WIN Stadium on Wednesday to cheer the guys on. The players will obviously lift with a large red and white contingent there on Saturday night?**

It’s a huge part of being involved as a player or coach at the Dragons. The support of the Red V Members and the way they wear the club colours continually reminds you of what St George Illawarra means to so many people out there. Seeing all that red and white out there tomorrow night will be a definite boost for all the guys.

wests-tigers will also get a boost from seeing their support.
dragons deserve to be favourites.
just the way I like it, can they live up to expectation?
I just don't know.
no pressure on wests-tigers
. we know they will play like there is no tommorrow, and that's all we can ask for.

I agree IMO all the pressure is on st george, everyone is expecting us to roll over.
If we can get out there and get up in their face in defence, tire out their key players and shut down boyd i think we can win. If we frustrate them defensively i think they will self destruct.
Havent felt this nervous or excited before a game for a long time
