Dragons re-brand

Changing the name doesn't really change anything.

The COE will help them attrack more talent as they must be one of the last clubs that didn't have one?
 
I feel for the Dragons because they are at present in the same black hole we were in for years. You can only attract ageing players and have to pay massive overs, your forced to blood kids way to early and there is negativity everywhere you look. It is so hard to dig your way out of it.

There is no easy road, but they need to put a broom through the place, get a youngish coach with good people skills and try and rebuild the joint. One thing there is usually a good supply of quality kids that come through the Illawarra. Of course the salary cap and two new franchises makes recruiting difficult

I don’t. They are a rotten club with the most cocky supporter base when they are winning.
 
Terrible idea. There's nothing wrong with the name and fans of both original clubs would hate it.

They need to get their juniors in order, surely the Illawarra has a wealth of talent yet doesn't seem like much is coming through for the club.

All of their talent comes from the South Coast.

Apparently riccio included a.poll....most were in favour at around.lunchtime today
 
This is the first time in all their years as a JV that this has been mentioned. With us, on the other hand, it’s been a nagging issue for many years. It just goes to show the difference between winning games and losing games, not that St George has set the world on fire in recent seasons either, just that we’ve been worse…til now 😁

Spot on! It’s like watching a replay of an old movie just with different characters. I hope for their sakes they don’t take as long to get out of the pit as we have. It’s a horrible experience!
