Yeah maybe but I tend to think to write to story but not approach the family might be worse? I don't know. As a parent I would want all the information but I thinks it different in mannahs case because they see the death as an act of God so the circumstances are irrelevant. But take an extreme possibility. Luke Lewis has gone to cronulla - he has had cancer issues. I understand there is a suggestion that cronull players have still been seeing hibbert and dank outside the clubs knowledge. What If Lewis was sucked into that? Whether a causal link is there on not. The fact remains dangerous things can happen if a players existing medical condition isn't properly assessed. Printing the mannah story has only increased awareness for people like Lewis. It was only last year that Adrian Purtell had a heart attack. Can u imagine if he received growth hormone? That definitely would have killed him. You don't always know the underlying medical health of a player - so let's leave it to the doctors and not the so called sports scientist.
