Dylan Farrell

Really good young player and I don't think the Bunnies will be willing to re-sign him right now with Walker soon to be a first grader and they have many other good options in the centers. We need a good young speedy center and maybe he can pair up with Ayshford. We are not in the position right now where we can pull off a huge signing like Israel Faloau or someone in his "class". Dylan Farrell woud be a massive addition to our side. He would not be a game changer but would allow us to crack the opposition on the wing which is something we are having trouble doing right now with Utai, Lawrence and Reddy. He is not the tallest winger out there but he also is not the shortest. He is one of the best options out there and we need to have a look at him. Having quality centers and wingers is defiantly a huge advantage to winning games.

Agree, all the talk in about the forwards, but they are holding their own, its the backs that are letting us down at the moment. Farrell is a good young player, quite talented. We need to look at some second string juniors who have a 3-4 ahead of them before they get a crack. Like Jack Buchanen, moved to another club and has been awesome. Maybe Ryan Morgan, Jacob Loko, Matthew Wright, Bryson Goodwin and Lachlan Maranta. Not sure if they are all off contract or not. Just my opinion.

Totally agree, backs are our biggest weakness..

Agree with all of you, our forward pack is the least of of concerns its our backs which are letting us down.

I'm prepared to give Ayshford/Lawrence the rest of the season to rediscover some sort of form, but if this does not happen Potter must stamp his authority and wield the axe on one if not both of them.

Farrell would be an apt replacement in this event IMO, reliable in attack, quick on his feet and has improved greatly in defence under Maguire's tutelage, key attributes we are clearing lacking at present. Somebody above mentioned Ryan Morgan from Parra as well as a possible replacement which I like the idea of he's really come of age this season and can only get better approaching his mid 20's.

If we can sign Farrell our backline would look like this round 1 next year:

1\. Tedesco
2\. Koroibete
3\. Farrell
4\. Ayshford
5\. Nofoluama
6\. Marshall
7\. Brooks

14\. Moltzen

Heres hoping Potter has common sense.

I dont mind the idea of buying a qaulity outside back, but im not sure Farell is qaulity. His defence while being better this year is still suspect.

What about Rory Brien? Leva Li? Oh wait, that was last week.

I don't know about Farrell. He is a solid player wouldn't add a wow factor to our backline. Don't know when Josh Morris is off contract but id be chasing someone like him to add that spark

I would be trying to get Chambers,he is very under rated,he can sure score and create a try from nothing, not sure on his contract status, but he would not be on a lot,as the reds basically sent him packing

He is off contract after this year from what I heard on the Fox Sports commentary team.
Remember he is playing under Bellamy so it's hard to tell how he will play with Potter.

dont buy storm players….ergh. not after Blair.

Dylan Farrell is a hack, no real improvement on what we already have with Aysh/Lawrence. He scored 3 tries on debut against us and has not really been anything special since.
Throw all of our money at Jamie Lyon, thorough professional and would be an awesome addition to our team. There is no substitute for class in the NRL.
Either that or wait until Josh Morris is off contract…go after the big fish not just recycled nuffies.

We should of went for Michael Jennings when we could of. He is killing it for the Roosters.

I'm sure that has something to do with the fact he's rolling off a pretty strong forward pack. Don't be fooled into thinking just cos he's killing it at the Roosters he'd be killing it here. There are reasons behind it
