Easter Monday Fixture v Eels

I’m seriously done with this fixture and completely over seeing it described as the best game of the year.

I redeemed our Gold member tickets for aisle 106 and we found ourselves surrounded and I mean completely outnumbered by Eels fans. Most were ok but their support have more than there fair share of dickheads and a fair few were giving it to us the whole game. I’m happy to accept a bit of banter but some of it was way too much and it could easily have escalated into something nastier.

I fail to see why members should have to put up with this and I’m done with seeing us throw away home advantage in this way to one of our most hated rivals all for the sale of a few more dollars.

This game should 100% be played at Leichhardt Oval packed with Tigers fans giving it to the Eels players at every opportunity and putting pressure of the refs also. Do we seriously believe all those calls which went against us would have went the same way with a packed home crowd.

Homebush is not quite as bad as BankWest but it’s still not the best solution for Tigers members and fans.

Soft decisions right through the organisation, winning starts at the top.

Absolutely ...At the moment Bankwest is virtually EELs home ground, doesnt matter how they spin it,and it gives them the advantage mentally...

$$$$$$

Not saying you’re wrong, but the club needs to survive somehow

Also we play just as bad at Leichhardt anyways. Who and when was the last decent opponent we actually beat at that ground?

It’s looking the most likely. A revamped Stadium Australia would have been the go, but alas politics got in the way and we lose out again.

This is my option the most advanced footy stadium in the country when finished and not a leagues club in site for the fickle ones ! This ground ticks all the boxes ..
The club needs this to happen for the 2023 season that's plenty of time for this to happen !

I agree it’s not the answer for our permanent home ground but for this fixture it should be a stick on.

That maybe so but it definitely gives us an advantage and in a tight game like yesterday’s it could make the difference.

In our position we need every small advantage we can get.

Nah - we have beat the Eels there before with 55,000 people and the atmosphere was amazing. We just were not good enough this year.

It’s not relevant that we’ve won there before, we’re disadvantaging ourselves before a ball is kicked.
