Eels and Tigers keen to open new stadium

From my understanding it will be a somewhat neutral ground, yeh Parra have history _on the site_…Not the Stadium. I'm not sure on current stand names being retained, you'd think if the gov were pushing this as multi use venue then that wouldn't be the case. But I believe the ground will be designed in a way... with lighting, l.e.d signage/displays/decor to make it Parras ground one week, ours the next and the wanderers the week after and whoever ilelse is using it.
I will give it a chance before it's finished

Atm I'm not convinced yet Parra stadium will be best move for us. If it was a new stadium being built in semi neutral territory I could warm to it but not in the middle of eels base.

It is the Western Sydney Stadium not Parramatta stadium or until a company buys the naming rights .. this stadium is centrally located in Sydney’s West and in the middle of the WestsTigers Sydney fan bases pretty ideally situated IMO .

Is Parramatta Leagues Club still next door…?

So that Is irrelevant… I did not realise Stadium and Club meant the same thing ,but I suppose with that way of thinking nothing will ever change ,it will not happen anyway as this is the reaction that will be thrown upon the club,no vision for the future.

Yea thats my thoughts as well - i did have concerns when it was first announced we were thinking of using it that supporters would probably use Parra Leagues afterwards but not much you can do about it unless Wests Ashfield were to partner up/takeover a smaller club in the area and use it as a WT Leagues club.

Yes. And its compulsory to go inside if your going to the footy.

Can we take them over?

Maybe we could ask them to hang a large print of the WestsTigers premiership winning team up.

For all its faults ANZ is a neutral multi user and multi use stadium that teams call home. It's not affiliated or tied in with any one team.

Western Sydney or Parramatta stadium will be largely affiliated to the eels being dead smack in the middle of…. Parramatta. Not much will ever change that, naming rights or not.

Would secondary teams playing out of a knocked down rebuilt Brookvale oval with the rebranding of Lottoland make them fell neutral and just as at home as WS stadium will?

If Brookvale was situated in the middle of Sydney's metro area? Yes.
Your reasoning is getting pretty stupid.
