Electric Vehicle Cars EV

I think most batteries will last double that, I believe Tesla has an eight year/160000km warranty on batteries, but yes I get your point they cost a lot to replace.

8 years better than 5. Why replace the battery? Get a new car or almost new... was speaking to a guy who replaces EV batteries. A friend in fact. I agree with both ya all. And what happens to that battery when it does die... is it recyclable - is it green... like they say??

Yes I hear they are quick off the mark.. Just. Are they really green???? Do they really help our planet???
Not as much as they would make you believe, the batteries are are a pain to dispose of, or recycle.

Another factor not often discussed is particulate pollution from road tyres, ev's produce much higher levels than ICE cars, due to their weight. (Tires cause higher levels of particulate pollution than car exhausts)
