Madge mentioned Elijah Taylor had a pec injury

I remember someone talking about pec injuries , even the smallest injury from memory was a 6-8 week lay off

Anyone heard how bad it is ??

No I'm blaming you at this stage

As was seen in the trial we missed his line sped and his ability to tidy the defence up in the middle of the ruck

If he is out for any amount of time along with rowdy we will struggle

This is a report just prior to Saturady's trial match. Let's hope the pec injury he has is very minor;

One late change to today's side, with Elijah Taylor sitting out due to a minor pectoral injury. Robert Jennings and Ryan Matterson both make their first start for the club. #NRLTrial #OurJungle https://t.co/205PMnBc0C

According to Physios;

Mild pulls may **heal** as soon as two or three weeks after **injury** . More serious strains can take months to **heal** , especially if you've had surgery.

I've done a minor strain before and it took a bit under 2 weeks to be pain free through a full range of motion and to the touch. It was about 3 weeks before I was game to start any exercise involving the chest but it was fine when I did.

I can’t comment as I do not have pecs. They sound like more trouble than they are worth.

NRL injury report saying Lawrence will miss a few months

Doesn't bode well for his contract negotiations for beyond 2019

But issue here is .. yes the mild strain will heal 2 to 3 weeks, but its the re-occurance of doing it again and again that is the problem. If you get it operated its completely reattached and less chance of it happening again.
