**COACH CROUCH OUT OF RETIREMENT**
>
Skando Shield bosses have reportedly lured long time supercoach Crouch out of retirement after several calls were made behind closed doors.
>
Crouch who boasts a star-studded line-up re-entering a competition he founded several years ago, had a tough decision to make as he was also enticed to join the mediocre Star League.
>
" Well being the supercoach that i have set my standards to, i really couldn't see that Mickey Mouse competition being much of a challenge. It would be like stealing candy from a child which would be just all too easy," Crouch laments.
>
"But without such a park footy competition, then i guess that wouldn't have raised the bar for such an elite competition such as the Skando Shield which was named in honour of the great John Skandalis. A former well respected player who put in week in week out".
>
With only $4.2Mil to the salary cap, Crouch admits it was tough to lure a competitive roster to reform The Concord Colts.
"Well we were never a latte sipping club, who had endless amounts of laundered finances who did under the table deals like Uncle Geo, that's just not what we're about. But we are doing okay with what we have recruited, and the well prepared off season should see us well into the 2011 competition as fierce competitors and really give this a shake and hopefully walk away with the title".
