Meanwhile, Wests Tigers prop Aaron Woods - who replaced Tamou in Origin II - is preparing for Friday's match against Cronulla hoping the NSW selectors will keep him in the team after his tough initiation at Suncorp Stadium.

''Not quite done it,'' he replied when it was suggested he had been there and done it as a NSW prop. ''Haven't won it yet, haven't won the game, the Origin. Just to come through it, it was just a massive confidence booster going into the game; just to see blokes like Paul Gallen and [Anthony] Watmough next to you when you were packing down was a dream come true because I've always loved footy from a young age and I've watched those blokes since I was a kid.

''It was a massive experience. We didn't get the result we quite looked for but, just to be on the field, the atmosphere it was crazy. It was unbelievable and everything everybody said [it would be].''

Woods conceded it was a tough debut with the NSW team on the back foot for most of the game.

''It was frustrating, we didn't get any 50-50 calls our way, but I suppose it's Origin, you have to take any opportunity when you get it,'' he said.

Don't think he was good enough against Cronulla to get a recall?

Does deserve a second chance as he was put in and qld exploded onto nsw. And they gave him a break (he was one of our players who didn't get driven back as badly as others) if gall is out I can see him in but if not doubt it.
