We don’t deserve that song. It feels really uncomfortable when I hear it on game day knowing we can’t match it’s lyrics with our performances.

That's what one Tigers centre sings to the other.
You may not be a entertainment/marketing guy, but great idea any Yuh on the rite track.A good marketing/entertainment team might....think...about taking Eye of the Tiger, cutting in a few soundclips of Tommy revving teams up, Laurie Nichols doing his thing & then blend it with the Eye of the Tiger track as the boys run out...scoreboard screen showing some classic moments...pump the crowd up a bit...that sort of thing.
But I'm no entrainment/marketing guy.
It’s part of the new generation thoughIts for the supporters that stuff. If the players need to rely on music a minute before kick off for motivation, then there are problems.
That’s different. Thats more to do with staying relaxed imo. It’s part of the new generation though
There’s plenty at my club with headphones on in dressing sheds
I got 16 and 18 year old who can’t even pack dishes away with out ear buds in. Slowly getting through to them though
I know Mark Williams did the original Wests Tigers version.Sorry to dig up this old thread but does anyone know which band recorded the Wests Tigers version? Im assuming it wasn't Survivor?
Long time lurker first time poster.
You want something catchy that would make a great marketing tool for the Tigers.
The kids would love it even the adults would find it upbeat and very marketable.
Now imagine getting dancers dressed in WT gear throw in a couple of players along the way like Turuva and you have a great product to sell, sadly I don't think WT have any great marketing people in the front office sadly.
The audiologists must be making a fortune from people who have their ear buds attached permanently to their ears. It’s part of the new generation though
