Failing to find touch

A "hookable" offence, IMHO - particularly when you have just finished defending..What goes thru their minds at times is incomprehensible…

It was an incredibly costly mistake. I really thought we were getting on top at that stage and presto - pressure released. I thought that and the soft try before half time (Utai twenty metres out of position) were the crucial turning points in the game.

it was marshall that missed it. hes missed more of these over the yrs than anyone else. obviously not gonna hook him for it, but it certainly deserves a good knock over the back of the head

No even worse it was 1 yes 1 tackle after we score a try gibbs gets it off the restart and we get a dubious penalty for raking was 50/50 penalty but at such a moment gibbs should have better ball security.Im positive it was farah was watching on tv and it wasnt shown at point of impact.Anyhow whoever as his going to kick it I say in my head he better find touch (because this year weve been disgraceful after scoring tries in the next set remember the warriors game 3 tries then 3 drops straight after)and bingo the rest is history these are errors that you expect from 12 year olds not first graders. For me this was the most telling minute of football for the day.I long for the day that we become the most professional team in the comp instead of a team of jokers ala beau ryan and co who seem like they havent fully escaped puberty.

problem is certain players in our team have a protective blanket on and never get punished. so the ill discipline in this regard will continue..

unfortunately this is true, sheens complains, yells, tears his hair out yet picks the same team again for the next game and brings in a 17th man who never gets any game time. The 17th man does not exist in his rotation of players during a game.

Does anyone know who exactly took the kick reran it from the footage and you can't see who did Anyone at the game see ???

Unfortunatly Benji is unprofessional in most of his endevours on the field passess/kicks including line finders these happen every game but we forgive him as he does create a lot of points but this should not overshadow the point that during a game more than once I say Benji mate be more professional please as the team would be much better off.

I think it's about time Tim Sheens pulled Marshall aside and tell him some home truths about his game, less is more theory needs to be applied.

Not finding touch from a penalty is just inexcusable. I cannot stand it.

It's up there with being too close to the sideline and being pushed over (another thing Tigers do quite often), playing the ball when there is no dummy half (stupidity) and playing the ball without putting a foot on it.

Lazy and stupid.

after 4 or 5 games, people were hailing him the new mesiah, now, he cant play at all???

i reckon he is alot more effective with Ellis, Lawrence and Tuquri around him making his options more potent

exactly. sheens should just not let benji kick for touch any more… plus he should be doing less in the game - he's already a key ball player, goal kicker, vice-captain (unofficially I think)? give him less to do not more!

Benji has been excellent this year, behind a pack that has been dominated more weeks than not.

I am not sacking him on the basis of missing touch. Who have you got me mind to replace him?

I think it's remarkable that we are still winning games and got within six points of the saints with our left side missing.

The linking between Benji/Lawrence/Tuqiri is phenomenal and we are suffering badly without it.
