Not at all, I just think Thurston is a knob… nearly as much as Ennis. To be honest, I don't think we would be losing much if we had Prince playing halfback instead of Thurston.

He is a bit of a knob mate and pretty damn dirty to boot. However when the chips are down I'd want him in my side every day of the week. Princess goes missing during the rough stuff.

Congrats to Rhino for making the side to. Long deserved !

A handful of St George Illawarra players have been granted some solace from their shock NRL premiership exit by being named in the Kangaroos Four Nations train-on squad on Monday.

Utility back Darius Boyd, second-rower Ben Creagh, winger Brett Morris, five-eighth Jamie Soward and props Michael Weyman and Justin Poore have been added to the Australia squad following the Dragons 24-10 semi-final loss to Brisbane on Saturday night.

Centre Matt Cooper (heel) was unavailable for selection due to injury.

Gold Coast Titans have had four players named in the train-on squad after their 27-2 drubbing at the hands of Parramatta on Friday night.

Prop Luke Bailey, lock Ashley Harrison, second-rower Anthony Laffranchi and halfback Scott Prince will line up when the squad assembles under coach Tim Sheens at the Sydney Football Stadium on September 30.

The Kangaroos head to England on October 17 to take on the hosts, France and World Cup holders New Zealand in the inaugural Four Nations competition.

**Meanwhile, Manly forward Glenn Stewart and Wests Tigers forward Chris Heighington have been called into the Prime Ministers XIII team following injuries to Cronulla captain Paul Gallen and Penrith lock Luke Lewis.**
Gallen was on Monday ruled out with a shoulder injury while Lewis is sidelined with a toe complaint.

The Australian Rugby League has retained Canberra five-eighth Terry Campese in the squad despite an alcohol-related incident on Friday night.

On his form this year I cant really understand Heighno getting a start.

Having said that I do congratulate him and hope he gets a lot out of the next few weeks.

hopefully all three wests-tigers players get through the game with no major injuries. 😛ray:
.
enjoy the game.

Congrats to Heighno on being called up. While injuries disrupted his season he did finish off well and played very well in the Prime Minister's side last year.

If you're looking for a pat on the back, give yourself one cause that's about all your effort for recognition deserves.

**Scott into PM's XIII**
Dynamic Cowboys front rower Matthew Scott has been drafted into the Prime Minister's XIII to take on Papua New Guinea this weekend after **West Tigers prop Keith Galloway sustained a knee injury**.
>
This caps off a stellar year for the 24-year-old, who is currently a member of the Australian VB Kangaroos Four Nations’ train-on squad and was also part of the record-breaking 2009 Queensland State of Origin team.

The Australian Prime Minister’s XIII take on Papua New Guinea this Sunday in Port Moresby.

Didn't he have the same injury not long ago?!?

We don't know if it's the same injury Galloway sustained. It's bad news for the big fella either way.

yeah the cartledge in his knee didnt mend from the operation earlier in the season, played the back end of the season with pain killers and will need another knee operation.

Yet they still wanted him to train. Thats just stupid.

In the telegraph today it says that they are more than likely to take a back up hooker for the four nations. Sheens said he is not going to play favourites. Basically the spot is between farah and ennis. Robbie can get the jump in today's prime ministers 13 game against png.

On a side note, why is this game never televised? I'm sure more than a few league fans would be interested.

It's great for PNG and great for the fans up there. But, given it isn't televised and media coverage of it in general is limited, it seems like a lot of effort to go to for what is little more than a token gesture.
