Farah benching

I'd love to see cherrington get some time, maybe 15-20 mins. He could give us that freshness and speed out of dummy half in the first 15-20 minutes of the 2nd half and then Robbie comes back fresh for the last 20 to wreak some havoc…

If Farah is going to be benched then I would prefer to see Cherrington used as he is much more threatening around the ruck and likely to create something in comparison to Halatau.

Lot of guessing here…..Not a fan....don't think it was planned..more to do with the heat/humidity....Robbie has a long season ahead....Carrying Cherrington on the bench at this stage is a waste for what 9mins...Halatau can do that...as it gets closer to Origin different story....

Well Robbie certainly came back on with a spring in his step. And seemed to have petrol right to the end.

If some of our backrowers are indeed those '80 min players' we hear so much about then I'd have Cherrington come on, not Halatau.

We saw what a quick young dummy half runner did for the Panthers yesterday…

farah was off for 7 mins but the back end of the game he was instrumental so it was a good move. whether it was planned or not doesnt really matter but with the new speed in the ruck, early season heat and game fitness not at its peak at the moment all teams except for souths and sharks i believe had someone else fill in at dummy half on the weekend.

I quite liked it, giving Farrah 10 minute break after half time, effectively gives him 20 minutes to get air back in the lungs and rest up to stay sharp for the final 30\. Think we might get more out of Robbie doing this, he lifted in the last 10.

Although I think that Cherrington is clearly a better option for that 10 mins than Halatau, the fact Haltau fills other roles and is versatile prob makes his overall value to the bench greater than CHerrington.
