Farah exit ushers in new Tigers era

Taylor never had a problem with Farah running. It was that he runs laterally and not direct. Taylor's preferred hooker is the Jake Friend, Isaac Luke style hooker who give quick service and when they run, they run straight. Importantly, they don't try and play like a third half. Halatau did exactly that.

True. And that appears to be the type of player Liddle is.

People talk about Ballin like he is going to add something to the side.

A 33 year old hooker who has not played footy for 18 months coming off 2 knees and was ordinary in his last season in 2014.

People get clouded due to their dislike of Farah. Imagine Farah had missed 2 straight years people would be calling him a broken down bus which is exactly what Ballin in.

I would be playing Liddle from Round 1.

Ballin will do what Taylor wants… stand and pass. Though I found it interesting the number of runs Halatau took when he was hooker in the later rounds. Ballin will struggle there is no doubt. I just hope we don't have to see any more Rankin moving to 9 and shuffling half the team anymore.

Lies.
He wanted a robot who passed off the ground quickly and accurately and could defend the middle.
Halatau mostly fit that bill but we still missed the finals because Taylor never addressed the elephant in the room…our defence.

So true, and moving 3 players out of position so Rankin can have a run in the dummy half role, well that was mind numbingly stupid.

They need more than Robbie to lure me into even thinking about being a Rabbits fan….
I'm glad he has moved on,If the disgruntled fans miss him so much, then go join him, they are not true WTs fans and supporters.....once again the media need something to write about...

I don't know how anyone can suddenly change allegiances, I agree they can't have been real supporters.

If they did they never understood the game in the first place.

All Tigers fans are disgruntled and have been well before the Farah saga. That author doesn't understand this club and it's two pathetic parents.

I'm a weststigers fan and I have never been disgruntled.

Disappointed yes, but that's it.

As to your statement re the two pathetic parents, go read the history of the two clubs

The Burrow awaits you.. we are so disgruntled that we have purchased another 4 memberships . Get disappointed at times but that is life , I do not know about the Farah effect for Souths but we bought the extra memberships because he has gone .. new era has begun!

Years of under-performance will do that to a fan base. For some, Farah was just the icing on the cake.

This club tests my mettle most years as a supporter, I always stick solid though, as do we all. I figure if we got through 2001-2003, we'll get through this.

All clubs want publicity in order to try and up their membership count. For me and I guess 99.9% of NRL fans, once you have a team in your blood it is there till the day you die or sadly in some case when the team dies. The old saying players come and go but the club is always there…I hope
