Farah named for All Stars Match...

The club doesn't have a problem with it. They gave him the time off.
I wonder what Uncle Wayne's thoughts are though….

The club was also happy to see him go at the end of last yr. Sounds like that argument is only suitable when you have no issue with it.

I think it could be read between the lines in that New GM thread that the SAGA was due to financial problems of back-ending. But the fans wanted Robbie to stay in spite of competition ladder. As well if he goes you guys will have no one any more to pick on - like the pub with no beer.

You're absolutely right. It's a non-issue as far as I'm concerned.
It will only become an issue, if Robbie doesn't perform as well as we all know he can, when the season starts, due to fitness issues.

Wests Tigers forward Chris Lawrence has been called to the 2016 World All Stars squad, replacing hooker Robbie Farah who has withdrawn from the squad.

Lawrence, who will captain Wests Tigers' Auckland Nines team this weekend, will make his All Stars debut on February 13 against the Indigenous All Stars at Suncorp Stadium, and will become the sixth Wests Tigers player to have featured in the game.

In addition Robbie Farah, Sam Burgess, Lachlan Maranta, Tyson Frizell and Trent Hodkinson have all withdrawn from the World All Stars squad, with Adam Reynolds, Jeremy Smith, Michael Ennis and Jordan Kahu called in as their replacements.

Cronulla Sharks captain Paul Gallen has been shifted to lock in place of Sam Burgess, with Tom Burgess promoted to the front-row from the interchange bench.

The second-highest try-scorer and youngest ever player in Wests Tigers history, Lawrence made his representative debut for the Prime Minister's XIII in 2007, before going on to play for City Origin (2010-12) and Australia (2010-11) later in his career.

Wests Tigers would like to congratulate Chris on his inclusion into the squad!

That's great news for Rowdy to be selected. Looking forward to seeing how he lines up in the backrow this year after a proper off season training in the position now.

Yeah I really feel (and hope) that 2016 could be a breakout year for Lawrence…he deserves it given what he has gone through with his injuries the last 3-4 years

What position will Lawrence be playing though?…I still don't think he is recognised as a 2nd rower by many in the NRL yet. Will be the only interest in an otherwise pointless game IMO.
