@magpie mania said:@TheSunTanSuperman said:@NZTiger said:I reckon if Farah does play off the bench in the test and have a good game, it will certainly increase his chances of playing for the Blues. With the Blues halves positions wide open since the Pearce injury, Craig Wing now gone AND Farah been named at 7 (Is this the real reason, Sheens?), Farah could be quite handy covering numerous positions for the Blues in Game 1.
Will both Ennis AND Farah get the nod?
Personally, even though I don't agree, I don't think Farah stands a chance going head to head with Ennis for the hooker role alone. Selectors are smitten over Ennis from last year's game 3 effort and that two try effort vs Farah certainly wouldn't have helped.
I'd be happy to see Farah used as a utility for the Blues tbh. Better than nothing and I'm sure Robbie would take that with both hands.
P.S - In regards to the test, I can't wait to see Marshall v Farah
Actually, it isn't better than nothing. If we are missing Farah for a starting hooker spot where he plays for atleast 60 minutes, then I'm fine with that. But I don't want to be missing one of our top 2 players for a 20 minute stint.
By the way, what was Ennis' effort in game 3 last year? He gave away 3 consecutive penalties and was then taken off at the 22nd minute, and not seen again till the 68th. Being hooked for more than half the game and running away from a fight like he did isn't a good effort.
WOULD YOU RATHER HE PLAY 20 MINUTES INN THE TEST OR MISS OUT AND PLAY 80 MINUTES FOR CITY.MR SHEENS ISNT AS DUMB AS A LOT OF YOU WOULD CLAIM.
@Tiger Watto said:@TheSunTanSuperman said:Bloody terrible? Yeah, I guess if he isn't making 6 breaks and setting up tries all over the park in his first game, he must have been bloody terrible.
The fact you seem to believe he's been 'average' at best says all I need to know about your judgement.
Lay off those things in your picture, buddy.
Dont let your passion get in the way of facts brother. Farah might be one of the top 2 players at the Tigers on paper, but he would be lucky to be in the Top 4 in the Player of the Year catagory. If he was setting the world on fire at hooker, he wouldnt be wearing 7 this week. Farah played well in Origin 1 & 2 last year, but his efforts on the Tour last year were well below average.
At the end of the day, this is a one off test and a back-up hooker wont be needed. The Utility will be a speed man.
Dont drink your Chardonnay in the Sun, it will blur your Vision…

He seriously considered doing it 2 years ago.

I remember a time when if you got picked for Australia you were guaranteed selection for the blues. Has this policy been changed in recent years?

Cameron Smith is so dominant at rep level that those who oppose him always look amature. If Farah plays for Australia its because Sheens put him there in yet another display of favouritism.
I give credit where it is due but his performances dont deserve a green and gold.

Your opinions on cricket are god awful, and your views on league aren't much better.
Yet another display of favouritism? He took one tiger on the tour, If you think Farah hasn't played well enough to be deserving of a test spot, you are off your rocker.

I actually think that Robbie is playing better this year than he did last - but his performances at rep level as of this far dont deserve the highest rep jersey you can achieve. Ask any other supporter from any other team....its only the odd tiger supporter who says he should be there.
As for my opinions on cricket being "god awful" can you explain how? I mean if it was up to you our test side would be full of 21 year olds who'd be lucky to know there backside from a hole in the ground.

I formed the opinion a while back that you are the type who has never played sport at any competitive level but rather gets on various forums and bashes the people that do. I still hold that opinion.
I have no doubt that Robbie will eventually be our test rake. He has a couple of things in his game that must change first.
