FARAH TO RAISE FUNDS FOR CHARITY THROUGH POKER NIGHT

Robbie Farah and his ‘Mates On A Mission’ charity invite Wests Tigers supporters to participate in a fun night of poker to help raise funds for the community on Saturday, June 12.
The inaugural Mates On A Mission Poker night in 2009 saw $27,000 raised to assist Kirrawee Public School in building a playground for special needs children, who have disabilities including autism and Downs Syndrome. Plans for the work have been approved with construction to begin shortly.
Proceeds from this year’s event will go to a nominated charity or community group.
As well as entry into the main event, there will be a break during the evening where players will be served a meal and auctions will be held. Tap beer and soft drinks are also included for the duration of the event and prizes will be awarded. Sit and Go’s will be held on request.
Join Robbie for a great night of poker and support Mates on a Mission as they continue to help those within the community.
The 2nd Annual ‘Mates On A Mission’ Poker Tournament
Date: Saturday 12th June, 2010
Location: Liverpool Golf Course
Registration: 6pm-7pm.
Main Event: 7pm SHARP.
Prize Pool: In excess of $20,000 in cash & prizes.
Cost: $200pp includes entry into main event, dinner, tap beer, soft drinks and prizes. To be paid at time of registration either directly to Mates on a Mission organiser or direct deposit to Mates on a Mission account.
