Farah

Not going well this year at all:

wrong options from dummy half
kicking game no good
trying to burrow over from dummy half every single time tigers near the line and not scoring.

His defence has been ok but he has basically been out of form all year.

His options are at times atrocious. His kick late in the first half was reminiscent of how we lost in the semis against the dragons.

The problem is that he touches it more than every other player and he has a crucial mistake in his game on a consistent basis.

His overall game tonight was pretty good but that kick turned the game around.

He needs to get his mind of SOO and think about playing well for the tigers once that is over his form will improve!

Talking of Farah did not anyone notice how much in defence when he makes a tackle he is spoken to by referees . And the kick option at 35 minute was bad

yeah that could be part of the problem, there was talk early on that he would be taking over the job when Buderus left, it was going to be a forgone conclusion…..then Ennis came along.

He's been a bit average all year.

I want to see the side firing like we know they can, hopefully that will happen sooner rather than later.

That kick wasn't bad that kick was so bad he should never go for the grubber again in that position. We lost in the semis last year with that kick and that was a game turner today.

His overall game was good but that kick negates the rest of it.

And his groin injury has nothing to do with poor options.

He did some good things out there, the almost 40/20 was a great play, his try saver on the left was superb, he tried to get things rolling…it just isnt happening for some reason.

Seems to have lost his way and the Benji/Robbie show isn't firing.
My favourite player and crucial to our team's success this year.
If he is playing on wounded legs he needs to get sorted.
If he isn't, then he need to fire up. 😛ray:

I don't understand what's wrong with Robbie's kicks. All too often he shanks them and we gain no ground. He just doesn't seem to hit them sweetly ever. Even when we get a positive result from there.

Edit: OH FFS TURN OFF THIS POST PREVIEW CRAP WHAT GOOD IS IT?!

One thing that frustrates me is how he is holding onto the ball for too long and crabbing sideways, only to offload to a runner when the opposition are already in our faces.

I honesty thing Robbie is a lot to blame for our lack of go forward.

I want to see the dummy half running farah of old!

34 tackles today

Trying but he and Benji arn't combining that well in 2012.

Looked better as a team though

People here are seriously morons.

We are nothing without Farah. Nothing.

No - if he plays like he did tonight without the usual crucial dumb play he is a quality hooker. No where near where he can be but he is a quality player.

If he plays to his ability he is the best hooker in the game.

The problem is that he plays like he did tonight but he also has the crucial dumb play in his game. We lost the semis last year because of Robbie's short kicking hog plays. Tonight at a crucial time he did it again.

I just think people are too harsh on Farah and too quick to blame him and/or Benji. Like tonight.

It wasn't Farah's fault and it wasn't Benji's. We got beaten because of crappy defense, that's what put us behind and put Farah and Benji's attack off - they got desperate, they had to, and therefore their games suffered.

When you try too hard you tend to screw up. They shouldn't have been playing from that far behind on the scoreboard.

How can you say he was thinking of SOO? Are you a mind-reader? Sorry, but it's premature to suggest that his mind is set on origin. Every player knows if they play well, the selectors will pick em and if they don't you cant do anything except be consistent.

Saying his mind is on SOO is premature.

On another note, I watched him closely tonight and I don't have any stats but before I thought he just scoots out of dummy-half whenever possible but geeze the runners don't make it easy for him. As Joey?? pointed out, Tigers lack communication deeply. Our game plan I think involves a lot of decoy runners but sometimes Robbie doesn't know who is the decoy and who to give the ball to. Eventually, it ends up being delievered to a flat footed forward who walks 5 metres and gets pushed back 10 (exaggeration).

I dont know whose fault it is but communication is a real downer.
