Farah's Last Hurrah

Re-signing both Farah and Marshall for a year is a must…
1) Tigers are a better team when they both play
2) Brooks is a better player with Marshall at 6
3) Liddle is better off the bench / lacks physicality in defence - needs to mature physically
4) Farah is tough / competitive whilst also being smart - sometimes the two don’t go together ...

Love him or hate him he has made a big difference so far.
Not sure if everyone has watched the video of him being presented the jersey for game 250 (by Roycey) but if not take a look. Can't help but admire his passion for the club.

If I were the club, I'd go to Farah and marshal and ask them if they want one more year…if either say yes, we should make it happen....farah has been a revelation since rejoining, he has been our best the last 3 games and Marshall certainly plays well with Brooks...in 2019 Reynolds just has to wait and share the #14 with Liddle...thats my take

I'd like to see RF as a mentor to Liddle only, next year or as a development coach for some of the other hookers coming through, same as Benji mentoring the young halves.

Without Benji this year we have been horrible

Flogged by Raiders and Titans and fairly well beaten by the Sharks

If you look and Benji and Rus Packer when they have both played we have 7 wins and 3 losses

The 3 losses are the Broncos where we deserved to win but ref fecked us
The Roosters where we lost by 2 points
and the Penrith game

When one of those 2 havent played we have won 2 and lost 6 including being flogged a few times

We keep our spine and starting props on the field and we can make the finals

I'd hate to sign the both of them and see them do a Jonathan Thurston next year.

We do not need a hooker on the bench next year.

So, if we sign Farah for next year that means Liddle plays 2019 in ISP.

Fair enough if that is what Ivan wants - think Jake will be going elsewhere if that happens.

That's ok providing Farah wants to play on for another 5 years after that - cause we ain't got anybody else.

Liddle will be ready for 2019 - can't see why Farah can't mentor him from the pretend ambassadorial role he will have when he retires.

Russell, I am sure the whole Board is pleased that LIddle is going fantastic in reggies and building his body for NRL tackling and wants him for umpteen years in the future. These things can be a fine balancing act and the see saw can tip both ways and more than one side could be considered pretenders. You are correct that Robbie could mentor LIddle from the sidelines but if Jacob is delivered prematurely by cesarean and breaks down again **he could jeopardise his chances with other clubs as well** - on top of jeopardising WT's season. So let the coach and doctors make the appropriate decision. We are all genuine Wests-Tiger fans and want him as hooker for ten years. Sorry to repeat but I only took a one sec peep at his mug shot three years ago to see he wasn't strong enough.

I give up BBF

Let's sign Farah for the next years.

Who cares about the future - God will provide.

Id like to see Liddle get another crack in the top grade this year to see where he is at.
Whatever happens you have got to have faith that Liddle the coach possibly Farah are all or will be in dialogue about what the next step is.
He wouldnt be the first young player that has
had to wait for his opportunity, and the first test proved too early. Either way we need a back up and between the the coach, Liddle and Farah they should be able to reach a solution.

Now Russell, if you knew how much the Rabbitohs fans are spewing over how Farah did his lay-down-and-out for 10 seconds last game and milking penalties you would keep him here till he is on a walking stick.

Loved this one

What make me sick is the Tigers got rid of Farah and we gave him life then give him early release to go back and the love affair with Robbie starts up again like nothing even happen.

it just goes to prove that you can't keep a good man down.

During one of the breaks last game Farah could not help himself giving a full-on talk to the boys and them all listening - he was the captain. And they were honest as well and kept turning up for his 250th game. Completely opposite to the other team and Sutton's 300th game.

Farah is set to sign on for 1 more year.

Is this the post swag..I see no one after laughing at it..just 1 me asking for a source..?

It’s ok as long as they are happy with minimum wage contracts and on the understanding that unless we have an injury crisis that they will be playing at 1pm on Saturday….,

we need him as a hooker this year

but tbh farah hasn't changed as a person and he won't change.

if the last round game against rabbitohs turns out to be our last, i hope it's his last too and i can go there and support him and benji.

If Benji and Robbie are in IC’s plans for 2019 it can only mean one thing…...and that’s, we can’t recruit any new blood or we have been knocked back by everyone we have approached.

Okay both will do a job for us but Father Time has moved on and we need fast young legs. They both have a chance to walk out of the game with their reputations intact....one bad year can destroy all that, ask JT
