Tedda Courtney and his son (Tedda junior) played first grade for Wests against Glebe on 14 June 1924. Tedda senior was 44. Young Tedda was forced off after 10 minutes with a knee injury. Wests won 29 - 11. This is the only time in the history of the game that father and son have played first grade in the same team. Amazing.
