I have three that really make the hair stand up on the back of my neck when I watch

John Sieben in 84 in the 200 Fly Last on the turn and doesn't take a breathe in the last 50 Talk about just going for it

Perkins in 96 Just amazing Guts Guts Guts and a little bit more guts thrown in

Don't know her name but the Russian woman in the marathon who is a stumbling mess around the stadium

Its not all about winning , sometimes just finishing is a highlight

The Olympic vibe throughout the crowd with ubiquitous chants echoing throughout the stadium at Sydney in the athletics. Flames were burning, an international crowd was buzzing, gold medal at stake. It was memorable as i felt as though I was in one of those Olympic moments you see from time to time on TV. For a moment I felt that I was not in Australia. I could of been anywhere. 5 years before Wests Tigers win their maiden premiership.

Phelps winning 8 gold medals….incredible effort.
