Fifita

needs a big game , seriously.

Im a huge fan and I think everyone is, but really since his 10 minutes of madness against Souths this guy has not done a thing. Really not making much metres, or having any impact, or even busting the line at all.

Given hes gone next year if hes not offering anything I cant see a need to have hinm in the side. And im a fan, like everyone, just think he needs to play better.

IMO regardless of whether players have signed elsewhere if they're good enough to still be in the side now then they must play, fifita definitely in this category..
I know he plays prop for us but I would love him to have a couple of runs out on the fringes, just as he did when he first arrived to first grade, with players backing him up he would do some damage.
This may be possible during sets wen we get fast play-the-balls or Gareth is doing some of the dirty work (as often happens)
Go tigers!

maybe a well judged offload from humphries…...i dont think so tho, young front rowers very tough to be consistent week in week out, i reckon it takes 50-60 nrl games to develop.

I thought the same he seems to be treading water or ready to go under.

Aaron Woods last few games haven't been very good either….You will not see the best of these 2 for another 3 to 5 years IMO....Young front rowers set the world on fire all the time but it takes yearsof experience before they produce at that level week in week out.

And you think the rest of the team look any better.

To me looks like most of them don't want to be there, why isolate Andrew???

not so sure … against the storm fifita looked pretty pissed that he wasn't getting on the field. hell, he was doing pushups on the sideline in front of me and telling the runners he was ready to go on. when he finally got on for the final eight minutes of the match he almost scored a try after chasing through on a bomb and carried the ball up straight and strong. maybe sheens has broken his spirit since i dont know. but he is still only 21and the sharkies gain will be one of our biggest losses !!

I am not isolating him at all. But since he has signed for the Sharks his level of commitment seems to have dropped.

I was sitting right near our bench against the Storm and will vouch for that, he was filthy and rightly so as he was given less than 20 minutes of game time. But since then, he has looked completely disinterested.

Just saw this via the telegraph:

"EXPECT Andrew Fifita to be used as a real strike weapon during the final few months of his time in a Wests Tigers jumper.

Fifita played just 25 minutes off the bench on Friday against Parramatta, but backed up on Saturday to spend almost an hour on the field for Balmain in the NSW Cup. Coach Tim Sheens watched Fifita and would have been impressed.

Sheens is keen to get Fifita's minutes up and utilise him in the charge home to the finals before the young prop is forced out the door to Cronulla."

Very interesting wrt the above comments from fans. Maybe Sheens is using the carrot and the stick approach.

Will Fafita get gametime and will he fire up? Lets hope so.

Good work Andy.
He is the sort of bloke who has to show he is committed to the game.
If he puts on a little weight, or has his socks pulled down,
he will get swore upon.
It's all about showmanship for him coz of the image he previously held.
