The line they took was Walsh wouldn’t have done what he did if Hudson didn’t do what he did before hand. It’s a cop out. Walsh didn’t just motion once he did it twice with clear intent and connected both times. Walsh should be getting a few weeks for it.

Hudson gave Walsh a bit of lip, so it excuses the headbutt from Walsh..

The new precedent - someone says something you don't like, headbutt them - you'll both get sin binned.

I think the competition hinges on what happens with Walsh. I think the Broncos win the comp if he’s in the clear. Can’t win it without him.

The Madge haters are quiet of late with the Broncos going from 12th to 1 win away from a grand final. Did it without the first choice 6 and 7 too.

It’s a shame we got him straight after Ivan stuffed our salary cap and we had dumb and dumber in charge.

Madge has done well with his first year with the donkeys but it's what happens in the following years when in the past with his relentless hard training the gloss wears off.

His 1st year with us we finished 9th but it was all downhill from there, same at south's after the premiership win, the players started to complain that they were leaving it all on the training paddock, and were too sore on game day.

Has the old dog learned from the past well I haven't got crystal balls, we will have to wait and see hey.

…and Brisbane got the penalty….that was crazy.

In preseason we better be practicing 40/20s. It changes the momentum in games.

Yep. And sooner or later a club is going to work out that 20/40s are easier to execute, opens up opportunities for early shifts if opposition teams need to start defending them and are just as momentum changing.

It doesn’t matter if there was force. Striking is outlawed. A headbutt is striking. As for Patty…he busted a bloke in the mouth with his shoulder. That’s been a send off for quite a few years now.
Precedence’s have been set. If people from clubs like ours get dragged for doing this stuff then equality states that everyone should.

I will be disappointed if any players out of today's game are suspended. The NRL changes the rules constantly and referees police things differently from week to week after an epic game where both teams gave their all to rub any of them out on the back of what went down to today would be a travesty.

Awesome game! What a roller coaster. Everyone knew this was the pick of the matchups this weekend, and it turned out that way. Hope these two meet again this year. They play a better brand of footy than the other teams.

Walsh's butt (so to speak) reminded me of Flanagan's "bite" of Crichton's nose, after Crichton stuck his bloody great honker right in Kyle's mouth when the guy's trying to breathe. Flanagan got 5 weeks, which killed Saints' season. Will Walsh be sidelined for head butting? Interesting to see ...

they will probably rub 1 out to push the point their in charge , The Judiciary is very fluid of late , drawing a line in the ever shifting sands doesn't stand up to the pub test. Right call or not .Nicho was not a hip drop the other week ,and the juggernaut progresses onward

Weird that there is no Friday night game next week. Dogs and Panthers play Sunday. Odd, because whoever wins will have a shorter turn around and have to go to Brisbane. Not sure what the logic in moving a game from Friday night, where the winner would get at least a 7 day turnaround.
