As I heard a guy on the radio saying today if the NRL can't sit down and get one or two Aussie acts out of the concert for the GF then their not serious

It's easy two knock an Aussie Icon Farnham was brilliant last night the crowd was up and rocking that indigenous entertainer with him in The Voice was great

I'm sorry but he was horrendous in the 3rd song .....I generally like John but that wasn't great

At the FFA Concert witnessed two great Aussie Talents one on the older side (aren't we all) Daryl Braithwaite and Jessic Mauboy .Daryl had the crowd in the palm of his hand with HORSES and Jess wow wow woe. If the NRL don't get the great Australian talent that is available instead of the overseas crap they serve up they are crazy(sorry that's a given)

I watched Daryl Braithwaite, horses was amazing and watching the crowd in it, it really appears that song has now become one of the real Australian classic songs. There was not a person who was not singing in the entire venue.

I skipped Mauboy!

Hardly an Australian classic - It was written and reordered by Rickie Lee Jones who is an American.

I saw him at the Sydney Sports ground in 1977 with Hush. 80,000 people amazing

And I thought he was great last night. He was the only act I watched

Ok fair enough. I’ve seen Queen live twice and never noticed it before but I know sometimes there are musos playing backstage as well (I mean generally not necessarily Queen)

Christ, Georges son is his clone. I bet they had to do double takes when they looked over at him, thinking for half a second they were on stage with young George.

I was at the concert on Saturday night and the other guy was introduced as the percussionist

Regardless, best concert I’ve seen for many years, since the time I saw them with Freddie In sydney in 1985!!

Regardless, best concert I’ve seen for many years, since the time I saw them with Freddie In sydney in 1985!!

Wish I’d got tickets for their Sydney concerts. May not tour again. Glad you enjoyed it!

That is not really true, I think I have been to 1 concert that had a second drummer.

The second drummer is his son Rufus, also plays for the band The Darkness.
He's mostly back-up percussion but is taking on more of the physical demanding songs as Roger gets older.

I've seen multiple drummers in All Star bands ..not that often from memory at regular concerts
