The first 20 minutes will be vital in this game. If we can start the game with lots of enthusiasm, put the Dogs under pressure on their own line and pile on several tries in the opening quarter, it should go a long way to us winning the game.

It may take the Dogs a while to settle in and play as a cohesive unit, as they have 4 or 5 new guys on debut for the club. Although I wouldn't underestimate their potency early as I can still remember when they came out in the first round of '09 and crunched the Sea Eagles. They had a few players making their debut for the club then as well.

Without trying to sound critical the first 20 minutes of any game is vital Whether your playing top side or bottom side . Building pressure is important also We really need to test their defense as if they are going to have issues with new players it will be because they haven't had time to build trust in defensive line . we also need to put pressure on their halves as they are a new unit also Their 6,7 and 9 have only played trials together if we can heap pressure they will make mistakes and turnovers will happen . We need to frustrate them out of the game .

Keating, hodkingson & Ennis did not play in the trials together. Ennis got injured in the all stars game. This will be their first run together. Hopefully they don't click.

as for the first 20 minutes tigers need to keep their completion rate high and do exactly what they did against the roosters in the trial…hard runs and great defense!
