First coach sacked?

Every year we have at least 3-4 coaches sacked before the end of the year. This year I feel might be a safer year for the coaches. However John Morris seems to be under most pressure (despite not missing the 8 yet).

All the new coaches will have at least 2-3 years before their spot is under fire.

That brings us to seasoned professionals like Brad Arthur (who's in trouble despite making top 4) and Madge (even though he's re-signed for 2 more years).

Ummm my money would be on Arthur. For some reason I can see the Eels missing the 8 this year. Don’t think he would survive.

John Morris maybe but I don't think he's contracted for next year anyway. Honestly a lot of the struggling teams have new coaches so we might not see anyone sacked this year! Hasler maybe if they can't make finals but they seem to love Des

Yeah I thought Morris would be the most likely. If the Sharks lose a few early up the knives will be out.

If Flanno gets waved through, put your house on Morris going. Reckon if Canberra have an average year Sticky might be under pressure.

Would be hilarious to see Walters get punted early on.

I can't see any being sacked this year. Unless a side has a year like the Broncos did last year. I can see contracts not being renewed like Morris at the Sharks.

Arthur is an interesting one. He has made some peculiar recruitment decisions at Parramatta over the years. If they have a slow start he'll be under immense pressure. I know one thing, I wouldn't want my career to hinge off of Mitchell Moses form.

Hopefully he will get his son to the donkeys before that happens.Nothing against Billy it is just i dont see him as a FG player

Morris , Walters and Arthur if I hazard a guess . Morris will lose his job no matter how the team goes . With Flanno and the push for Fitzgibbon on the quiet , it seems inevitable to me . I also can’t see the broncos hacking another spoon , and the knives being out real quick .

I know I'm dreaming, but Ivan Cleary sacked would be bang on for mine.

Couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

I don't see that happening unless Roger Ramjet (son) loses form and is not dropped when he should be.A losing team can implode quickly

I’m going to be make a bold call and say Anthony Griffin.

I’ll go you one better. Brad Arthur. I think Parra are going to fall away this year.

Yeah Arthur probably won’t last much longer unless he can get Parra to a grand final. If they start the season bad the knives will be out

Not a sacking but Trent Robinson will end up in France soon, he’s always expressed his desire to grow the game over there. I give it 1-2 more years at the rorters

For mine, it's Kevin Walters.

He is under enormous pressure to deliver immediate success with a dud roster.

Likewise .. Hook has a habit of rubbing senior officials and players the wrong way.. they got flogged in the charity shield and I can’t see them getting any better .. he’s my bet for the first coach sacked this year .. plus they have Flanno sitting in the wings there.

There's no way either hook or walters will be skewered in their first year. Morris most likely as he only just made it through last season. They'll get off to a shocker I reckon and things for him will only get worse. My guess is week 8 he's gone.

Barrett may have a tough time bringing the Team together after the Elliott matter, We will have to see if the. Team can put aside their feelings.

What if the broncos lose thier first 6. There’s no way the supporters wouldn’t riot , and call for blood . They’re not exactly nuanced supporters , mainly because they’re so used to having top 4 type teams . There’s definitely a path where they fire him . They’re hired Seibold and threw him under the bus , the moment their jobs were in jeopardy . What goes around comes around , I guess , but still . I think if hook doesn’t get the spoon he will be retained . If he gets thier first ever spoon , I think in history? Then that’s going to be hard to defeat the optics , even though everyone knows how god awful their list is.

If this whole situation with Dave Donaghy had of happened ..anything could of happened ...is why Cam never made a commitment
