First Grade Live Game Thread vs Roosters *Spoilers*

normally id hit record right now to record the game, but not now embrassing to get flogged by a hopless team at home
 
I think its pretty obvious the news about Robbie's mum has had an affect. Apparently a couple players had tears in their eyes during the minute silence
 
Yep Game over with the help of the refs. Looks like Benji will get a chance to have a shave… Start preparing up here for Newcastle on the 25th June.
 
We aren't playing well but it's so hard to hear the refs deciding games!
 
Things could turn around in the second half, but highly doubtful. We've just got too many key players missing and the upset of Robbie's mum passing on the day of the match has obviously shaken them emotionally. It's just a real shame **all** the other teams equal to us on the ladder had to bloody win this weekend - a big slide from 4th to 8th :angry:
 
Game isnt over but we were pretty much demolished that half. Really missing Ellis, Fulton and Farah out there.

Hopefully the boys get a revving at half time as their heads arent in the contest today and the roosters are playing very aggressive and fast football.
 
This is why we can't win the comp you wouldn't see the Storm or Broncos getting flogged at home to hopless teams hell the so called baby broncos flogged the roosters in Sydney
 
All the roosters pack run hard with the ball and kinda twist side to side to throw the defender to get an arm free for the offload. AFAIK we were the team that had conceded the fewest offloads (as of round 14 i think) but today they're getting so much 2nd phase and we have no answer for it.

Heighno and Bell are nopwhere near as hard running and no Fulton hurts us a lot, he used to do a lot of work to stop the offloads :/
And with no Ellis or even Dwyer we got no hard running forwards to strike back.

Yeah Benji was one, clearly upset. The guys just don't have their minds on it today, it'll be a miracle if we can come back from this.
 
We must aim to no concede a point in the second half and try score a few tries to narrow the points differential, don't think we got enough points in us with only Benji play making :/
 
ohh come on if a player lost their mother for QLD they would thrive on it, they love having some off field stuff to motivate them. I refuse to believe it's the reason their playing bad
 
Roosters are playing brilliantly. Boys mentality clearly ruined for today's game. Unless we have one of our miraculous comebacks, goodbye winning streak. Hopefully we see you again sometime soon.

Refs ain't at fault…. The team is flat as! Nothing happening in attack and no starch in defence.

Halftime came to late, I think the Roosters have this one sewn up.
