Now booing someone like t'eo for not putting in any effort whatsoever and not caring, or someone like glen morrison for doing the dirty on the club is a different thing entirely. Also there have been periods when I think Sheens deserved to be boo'd but Fitzy's situation is very very different.

My opinion of fitzy has changed just because of last night

When we first signed him, i was about as impressed as everyone else on this forum. But when gareth scored the match winner last night the first person ther was fitzy and the pure elation on his face was just priceless. Daniel Fitzhenry bleeds orange and black and thats everything I could ever ask from a tiger player. He will give everything he has this year and if sheens believes he can do it, then I will be cheering, even if the boos drown me out.

I would dry hump a player for free after we scored a try because I'd be that excited but that alone doesn't warrant selection in the side.

His selection is backwards, why not give the golden boy Lazarus a run on the bench instead of Fitzy.

Fitzy his useless and offers nothing.

Booing him doesn't make you any less of a fan, it showcases adequate concern over the well being of the side we all pay financially and emotionally to support.

And regardless, the condescening fake appraisal he used to get is so much more hurtful and disrespectful than being blunt and calling out your frustration.

Agreed… just because you pay your entrance fee doesn't give you rights to be a wanker, you can do that at home in front if the telly.

Through all the games I have seen since 1982 I have never... NEVER left a game early. Even when we have been flogged by 40 points and looked as good as the under 12's, I stayed and supported my club. Sure, maybe a few jeering boo's have come out over the years, but not very often and I always cheered when players have played their guts out and shown passion for their club. Fitzy always shows passion and I have no problems with him wearing the Wests Tigers jersey!

actually fitzhenry bleeds black and white - he came from Wests magpies and not balmain at one point i think before Wests Tigers - but now be bleeds, black, white and gold - the official colours of the Wests Tigers

Fitzy is a reliable utility player and offers value to the side in that capacity. He's not the greatest player to ever don the boots, nor the worst. It would be good if people can find some middle ground this season.
