Flanagan

I'm intrigued by Flanagan. He's a little bit small, he get's bent a little in attack, he is a tremendous defender and he seems to know how to hit a hole and give the right passes at the right moments. A bit of a mixed bag and I don't know what to expect each time he gets involved. I just don't know what to make of him.

He doesn't fill me with confidence when he is running at the line, but I'd like to see him there for a couple more weeks before I make my mind up. At the moment he is doing enough to be there and a little more. Another good performance tonight.

He's a ballplayer like Fulton. Good passing game, offload, sleight of hand, footwork. He wont carry front rowers on his back and eat up the metres but he'll be really effective if he continues to link up with Benji & Farah and gets some fast men following him.

I agree with that. Ive been impressed by him, but there's something there that holding me back. I think he has a touch of class but his lack of physical dominance has me concerned due to the fact we already have two forwards who lack size and power….....can we afford 3?

im happy to have a slice of the old humble pie … i wondered what he had done to warrant first up selection in the 17 .. tonight he showed me why he was selected ... he has very good vision .....
