We know there is always going to be interstate rivalry, but we all appreciate that come the end of the day it's just a bit of good natured banter.

Really appreciate your well intended comments.

I've got a couple of roof leaks after getting about 10" of rain over the last couple of days but that is nothing in the scheme of things when there are poor buggers out there that have lost everything and seen their houses floating down the river.

I has been very bad bad in Port Macquarie where we live and surrounding areas. Some places near Port have had over 850 mm of rain, we have had around 600 mm. Some of our friends have lost everything so we are donating Sofa beds and white goods so that they can start over, but need the rain to stop first.

I'm just sitting here watching my kitchen ceiling being replaced after it collapsed in the torrential rain in lake Cathie on Saturday. Bit of a pain but nothing to what some are enduring.

The worst story I heard 2nd hand was a poor business owner came home from a day at work cleaned his flooded house ..opened his business Saturday morning serving all SES people with bacon and eggs wraps ...got home and place had got broken into ...some people are bloody disgracful
