I think the trouble all began when folkesy signed with the dragons!

think about it, before that week we where flying, then after that they put in 2 of the worst games of footy ever.

Why i dont know, but could there something in that?

all i know is when he came to the club we got fight and back bone. after he signed it was gone.

I heard a rumour that last year Folkes was the one actually telling the players what to do and this rumour isn't like a lot of the other ones on this forum. My source is impeccable.

If Folkes had simply remained at the club as the ball boy we'd be winning the comp now. Stupid Humphries and Sheens didn't like his ego.

The minute sheensy re-signed Folkes was gone. He wanted the top job and I think the plan is for Gentle to suceed Tim, (which will be a disaster).

Folkes has made one signing in his time here and it was Utai who during this lean period we have come to realize how much we've missed. I'm pretty sure Moltzen is a Folkes signing for the Dragons and just for all your information. Folkes wife is Beau's god mother so he has a connection with Beau hence the popularity amongst the players.

Folks is an outstanding coach. He's a real lead by example, discplanarion old school type which works well with a young team. I was glad to see him come to us and sad to see him leave. Not sure how much of the currant disruptions can be attributed to him though. I get the feeling he is far too professional to be causing trouble at a club he is leaving, who would give a gig to someone who will come to your club then try to destroy it when he leaves in a couple of years.

I was surprised why Folkes was not considered for the Assistant Coach role with us over Peter Gentle and was disappointed at him leaving for the Dragons. He was my personal choice if Tim Sheens had not re-signed as our coach but thats history. BTW what is the Peter Gentle story what is his coaching experience behind him getting the Assistant Coach role with the Club?

Here's a mischievous hypothesis - did Sheens prefer Gentle over Folkes as less of a threat to his position?
